ARMED REACTION RESPONSE AND MONITORING 

ALWAYS PREPARED AND READY TO RESPOND AT ANY TIME. 

  • KOTB PROTECTION SERVICES has marked and unmarked vehicles that are used in the proactive detection and prevention of crime. Standard armed reaction units are backed up by a fleet of marked, specialised tactical vehicles that include Robbery Reaction Vehicles, Violent Crime Units and Critical Incident Command Units.

  • Reaction is not contracted out and our control center automatically dispatches reaction vehicles within seconds of a panic or alarm signal. KOTB PROTECTION SERVICES  are fully trained and equipped and will climb over fences and walls wherever possible to inspect your property completely and effectively.

  • Our armed reaction vehicles are not permitted to park (stand off) and are required to actively patrol 24/7. Every vehicle is fitted with a tracking unit, allowing us to accurately monitor their movements day and night.

  • We actively participate in any groups (Residents Associations, Whatsapp etc) that have been created in our areas, allowing us to better understand that suburbs specific requirements. Areas that have adequate representation of home owners that use KOTB PROTECTION SERVICES Tactical are assigned a dedicated reaction vehicle.

  • We work closely with the South African Police Services and attend their weekly operations meetings. This ensures that we are fully aware of any changes in crime patterns and allows us to be proactive rather than reactiv

UNARMED GUARDS 

Our Guards Are Honestly and Trustworthy 

  • KOTB PROTECTION SERVICES are selected for their guarding abilities and experience and are managed on a strict, semi-paramilitary basis. They are also required to have a pleasant demeanor and a working knowledge of laws and restrictions as applied to and by different complexes/ businesses.

  • Our guards are carefully screened and this includes, amongst others:

  • Pre-employment polygraph screened

  • ITC and reference checked

  • Are over 26 years of age

  • Have at least 2 years experience

  • Guards are recruited and employed for specific contracts with weeks of training given before and during their employment at KOTB PROTECTION SERVICES. They are supervised and managed on a 24-hour basis.
